A Kids Place
A Kids Place Tampa is a nonprofit organization that helps children throughout the Tampa Bay Area. They came to eNox Media with the needs to redesign their website from the ground up. They wanted to keep their already established brand but needed a refresh to their visual language. Their new web presence needed to encompass their child-like charm, while delivering their message and mission in an impactful way.
I was the UI/UX Designer; focusing on mobile-first design website design. I provided creative direction, and was responsible for refreshing their visual language. I also developed a plan on how the visual language would be applied to their new site in a strategic in order to marry the visuals with their overall goals.
The client came to us because they needed to refresh their online presence. They had an already established brand, but the visual language needed a modern refresh. They also needed a website that could help potential donors find information and statistics about the work they do to help children. Additionally they wanted a UX that was mobile friendly, and a UI designed to help people find out how to donate to their cause.
After reviewing the initial questionnaire that the client filled out about their needs, I researched their community and specific non-profit sector in order to asses their needs and evaluate their competition. I lead meetings with the client, from kickoff to iteration in order to make sure we were meeting their needs every step of the way. I created a plan to keep their branding but expand their visual language in order to introduce elements that would give them a more modern look and feel. While designing their site, from information architecture to visual hierarchy, I applied design rules and UX best practices to curate a digital experience.
Since launching their new site the client has reported that their online donations have increased, they have gained increased notoriety in their community, and that users can more easily find what they are looking for when navigating their site.
